Technology Association of Georgia Announces Advance Award Finalists for FinTech South 2023
ATLANTA, GA (September 7, 2023) — The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) today announces the 10 finalists for the Fintech ADVANCE Awards as part of the awards and recognition at the annual Fintech South conference. The Fintech ADVANCE Awards seek to provide recognition to established firms that promote innovation and growth in the state of Georgia’s fintech industry.
Every year, TAG accepts applications submitted by fintech organizations or their public relations partners. Applications are then reviewed by the ADVANCE Awards committee, composed of TAG members in the fintech industry. This year 10 finalists were selected as ADVANCE Awards finalists, based on this year’s competitive applicant pool.
“This awards program shines a light on innovation coming from established companies with ties to Georgia,” said Maria Luisa Pineda, Co-Chair of the Fintech ADVANCE Awards and CEO of MPS Group. “Unlike the Innovation Challenge that focuses on early-stage companies, ADVANCE Awards is a great program for uncovering ‘wins’ within companies that innovate over time. The program also requires a customer reference, which instills confidence that the winners are indeed providing real value through technology.” said Scott Mills, Co-Chair of the Fintech ADVANCE Awards and President of William Mills Agency.
